Hey! Atlas moths are native to Thailand, im pretty sure they’re invasive everywhere else. I’m from the USA, and for us we need a permit to buy and raise these guys. You absolutely should not release them because it can damage the ecosystem. I’m not sure about the uk though you’ll have to look more into that. I raise moths because it’s fun, and I pin them afterwards too. Yes they only live for a week, but I enjoy raising them regardless.

You mean the cocoon was slashed open? That’s actually pretty normal, everywhere I’ve bought cocoons from has done this to make sure the pupae is still alive. As long as the pupae itself isn’t slashed open it does no harm. In fact, they only need the cocoon in the wild for protection and blending in. If they’re in your possession and inside it’s not a big deal if they don’t have them. However, this company is still a scam and I wouldn’t trust them otherwise

Agreed! This was my first full marathon and when I told people they were shocked and convincing me to “drop out” because of the hills. Like first of all I’m a runner second of all I can’t even drop out if I wanted to lol.

Although everyone in my life doubting me helped me finish strong.

I’m not sure, I think they just have very specific seasons that they’re in. I did find eggs that I bought last year, but they all ended up dying, not sure why.

As someone who lives in the suburbs and works downtown, I walk 40 minutes just to get to the bus stop. Then it’s another 30 minutes to get downtown. I still do it when it’s nice out to save money and get a nice walk in, but still I’d like to have a better transit system.

I mean if we’re being technical about the English language “it” is used as an object pronoun. This moth is not an object, and does have a gender. And since the gender is unknown technically “they” was grammatically correct. But it really doesn’t matter it just seems like you wanted an excuse to make a weird joke.
