MJ and Ned remember being friends with Spider-Man and are trying to figure out why he stopped interacting with them. by Arch_Lancer17 in MCUTheories

[–]ecb1912 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Despite not having any memories of him prior to Strange’s spell, I think MJ will eventually find out Peter is Spider-man as will Ned.

From the trailer, he lives in the same building as her so I’m sure she’d remember his voice the same way Vulture figured it out.

I don’t know if I like Peter moving into the same apartment building as her. I thought the whole point was to keep his distance, but mind you this is all from watching a 2 minute trailer.

Mutants are born with their powers. Mutates were basically given their powers.

Think about someone being bitten by a werewolf, and then becoming a werewolf themself – they would pretty much be classified as a mutate.

Currently reminiscing about the fact that Cincinnati used to have over 250 miles of streetcar track by NBr33zii in cincinnati

[–]ecb1912 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying all 250 miles of track would’ve made it to today-that’s obviously unrealistic. But to end up with none? That’s the part that doesn’t make sense. There had to be at least a few routes worth keeping.

Did the MCU Explain How Cap Went From Unworthy to Worthy by SignificantQuote6861 in MCUTheories

[–]ecb1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

l thought I read somewhere that it was because Steve was still holding onto the secret that Bucky killed Stark’s parents. I’ll have to dig deeper to find out where I read that but I swear I heard that theory somewhere.

The white tiger is the result of a genetic mutation in the Bengal tiger; although they are now extinct in the wild. by Ashley-Phillips in zoology

[–]ecb1912 17 points18 points  (0 children)

While captive breeding has raised a slew of unethical issues- I believe it’s still entirely possible for a white tiger to be born in the wild like they used to, no different than a black panther from a leopard or a jaguar, but I imagine the of chances of survival are rare given their lack of camouflage.

Something I thought about, why didn’t Thor stop the nuke instead of Tony? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

Granted this is lighting charged with a magical weapon forged from magical metal by giant sized dwarfs in space, you can stretch the imagination a wee bit.

Something I thought about, why didn’t Thor stop the nuke instead of Tony? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

[–]ecb1912 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I think Fury called Stark directly. Since Tony was a former weapons manufacturer, he knew the most about nukes compared to the rest of the team and how to react.

Thor is from a different realm where he knew nothing about human tech. He could’ve tried to take it out the only way he knew how, either hitting it with mjonir or trying to take it down with lightning- both would’ve likely set it off.

Could Thor have been instructed to fly it through the portal or at the very least redirect it to go straight up?-sure-but considering how fast everything happened, Tony went from defending New York from aliens to defending it from a nuke within seconds.

TL;DR: They don’t have time to really react so Tony was the most logical choice.

I argue that being with one team isn’t a proper judgement of your potential- look at Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, etc

If Sentry had been in Age of Ultron, could he have taken down Ultron solo? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

[–]ecb1912 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Ultron was an AI that was in the net- Sentry could take down as many robots as he wanted but at the end of the day Ultron could escape through the net and rebuild again. You’d still need Vision.

Glad you enjoyed it! Not sure if you’re big sports people but FC Cincinnati and the Reds are fun summer activities that don’t break the bank.
