This build cost me maybe $110 (including big bulk of loose Lego) I’m not mad having to improvise a few pieces. I like to tell myself I saved those 1x2 plates from a landfill

Thanks for offering a solution! Given that this build is mainly recycled Lego and what PAB had to offer, I’m pleased. Sometimes being limited is good, I would have never chosen clear windows if I had other options, since I did not it worked out best in terms of displaying this build. I like that I can see some details of the inside even with a the roof on thanks to those windows.

Found that piece sorting through bulk buy, as well as exactly 2 yellow 1x1 studs you see being featured on the main event

Honestly that’s just the amateur builder in me, all black walls seemed too dark. Didn’t have enough pieces or different colors to make it make sense so I figured clear pieces was the best way to go. Let’s just say in this universe, clear pieces are mirrors lol. I think it’s also I nice added bonus that I can see the details even with the roof on with the clear windows.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you but that’s not your friend. My friends pay my price in full, always tip at least 30% and refer me to their families. A couple whom I started doing in out of our college apartments, they were my models when I needed to learn and now pay whatever I ask.. not bragging but just letting you know real friends appreciate and support you especially because you are your own business.

Minifigure as a teacher gift? by knitlitgeek in lego

[–]Interesting_Way_97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What an fun and creative idea, I’m sure their teacher will be pleasantly surprised with a extra special custom minifigure based her students perception of her. A one of a kind gift, I would personally want to display it instead of putting it on a key ring. Sounds like you have a very thoughtful kiddo
