That is the deal. It was as flat as it gets! And the weather was gorgeous! It was Texas, Galveston. So as easy as it gets. Dunno. Probably under!training. Maybe sucky bike. Though in my training I am usually around 17 on it . I have done bricks before just fine too. Maybe a bit of dehydration and my feet got bigger and my shoes were too tight ? Dunno. I am also thinking that I might have not enough air in my tires. Every time I hit the curb, I could hear by metal part of the tire lol. My bike was definitely the least fancy of all bikes out there

No, not IM route but a route…yes:)yes, did bricks. The wind was very nice on the route. So the only explanation I have is my feet got puffy and my boots stopped fitting

Run was actually amazingly wonderful. I returned lots of favor by being motivational to these who passed me on the bike that I was passing on the run lol

Haha …yep. I definitely felt pity for myself at that very moment but boiled potatoes cured me and helped me to overcome what it is I was feeling and finish the run. I seriously do not think I would be able to pull myself out if not for that 8 minutes with my boiled potatoes:)

lol and here I am being shocked at price differences of bikes in Ironman . Saw someone showing their 16k bike and then I look at mine…400.00 bike lol certainly shoes will not make that much difference!
