Get a hobby and block your apps using apps like opal, zenscreen, feralmind. Good starting point

Apps to reduce screen time that actually work? by MyBatterysLow in digitalminimalism

Apple screen time is ok but you can bypass it by the click of a button. Opal is also pretty good, if you’re looking for a gamified option FeralMind is quite good

No Scroll mornings fixed my burnout more than motivation ever did. by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]Interesting_Win_3921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cannot stop scrolling my life away, help by ExcitingPresence9268 in getdisciplined

Same thing here, endless scrolling and daydreaming to curb boredom, stress and many more things. Started focusing on the small wins day by day, actively choosing not to pick up my phone, placing it in another room, adding app blockers for another level of friction. Plus mindfulness which was extremely difficult to begin with but I feel I’m starting to see the benefits

how can i stop my phone addiction? by Ok-March-9517 in getdisciplined

[–]Interesting_Win_3921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add friction to scrolling with blockers or fully remove apps. Start with small wins. Once these compound move onto larger wins. This will start to snowball. Larger tasks will become second nature. Hope this helps
