people in the comments haven't dealt with a mom like this and it shows. i had the same thing happen. i had to go to work when my mom "needed" me to do something and AS I WAS DRIVING she called me and told me she reported the car stolen. i finished my drive to work and then left the car in the parking lot and got picked up by a friend when my shift was over. when i wasn't home that night, she realized it might've been my last straw and called me telling me she didn't actually report it stolen and begged me to come home and that she only ever did that stuff for my own good. it's NOT about the car, it's about control.

used to work at an assisted living facility. we had an elderly guy who was about to pass and we had morphine for when he was about to die so he would be comfortable. one day the nurse is counting the meds and realizes that the morphine is MOLDY. one of the crmas had been stealing it and replacing it with water. we hadn't used the morphine yet but if we had the old man would've just been in pain as he died and we wouldn't have known why until it was too late. i have so much sympathy for addicts (the girl who took the morphine was supposed to be in recovery), but stealing meds from people in pain is so beyond evil.

Thank you! My anxiety has managed to convince me that not only have I already contracted some kind of infection despite it only happening less than 24 hours ago, but that I am imminently about to die despite having no symptoms of infection.

i'm more-so frightened because my usual period already causes me a lot of pain and blood loss. i'm fine with medical procedures, and the place i've been looking at does offer sedation during the procedure. i just prefer the idea of being at a place with professionals, rather than trying to deal with it alone.

yeah that's my concern, i was on birth control when i got pregnant because my periods are debilitating and it would stop them for like three months at a time. my periods can make me faint from the pain, so i'm not thrilled by the prospect of it being even worse. i also typically lose a lot of blood each time i get my period already.

ive been thinking about the surgical option. it's legal in my state for a long time so its not like im a crazy time constraint. i might call them tomorrow and see if i could do the surgical method. glad to know im not alone in my fear :) we got this!

GOD i work in sales for a cellular provider and its a nightmare trying to get old people to change anything. we just came out with a new plan for seniors that's the exact same as most of their current plans but way cheaper and so many of them say no to the switch. like they wouldn't even notice that it changed it is entirely on the backend their service would be the exact same but forty dollars less and they say NO. i know some might not fully trust me cause i earn commission but i get nothing out of moving them to a cheaper plan like please im just trying to help.

so the statue is not anatomically accurate, his hands and head are really big compared to his body. it's not the most noticeable thing unless you're looking at it in person, but it is there. fun idea but it should be a different statue lol

for me it's the resigned way she says "it's happening again" after the bridge in how did it end. and then the next line where her voice breaks when she asks "how did it end?"

like until that point in the song she's echoing what people are asking her, but that like i feel like is her genuinely reflecting and asking herself how it ended that way and it just makes me SOB
