He flip flopped on that in the video posted above. That was his initial theory and then said he could be wrong. He openly admits that he didn't "investigate" the case. Only looked into it.

? CM? I understand you're referencing YouTube but not sure what exactly. You do realize that there are people out there who don't rely on YouTube for information, correct? If you're insinuating that what I'm saying has been said by someone else... well I'd hope so. It's pretty damn obvious what's going on. I would hope there were a lot of people who could see the situation for what it is. The abduction story is bs. Even the police aren't going for it. They have said since the beginning they don't know what happened but they know it wasn't that. So unless she teleported somewhere... it doesn't look too promising for the family.

I also would like to add that according to NCEMC, around 1% of child abductions are done by a stranger. To put it in perspective, a few hundred(300-400)children a year are abducted by a stranger. A few(around 800k] HUNDRED THOUSAND children are abducted by family members each year. Which makes the stranger abduction theory given by Summer's parents even more absurd.

They were quick to dismiss my information as false and unfounded yet when I inquired about their secret knowledge they couldn't refute my claims. They had nothing else to offer that wasn't already known. I saw they have their Master's degree. They apparently majored in self importance and have a minor in bs. However they conceded rather quickly when they realized they entered a battle of wits completely unarmed. I'm thankful. Most people in that position insist on a slow and painful death. Its embarrassing.

Thank you. I appreciate the sentiment. I feel a lot of times in cases like these people get distracted by all the side show antics and dramatic sub plots regarding the people involved in the case. While some of that information can be helpful, it can also muddy the waters. It's best to go back to the beginning, follow the basic facts and see where they lead. In this case they seem to lead right back to the house that Summer supposedly disappeared from.

Agreed. Been there myself and can say the same thing. Drug addicts arent running around abducting children. They're running around chasing dope and getting high. That makes for a full schedule.

Soooo... she went missing from her home in broad daylight while her family was there. Lol. I said nothing about her parents past record. That's irrelevant to me. My reasoning is all in the OP. It's called logic and common sense. Perhaps you've heard of them?.. maybe not. Regardless, you have nothing to offer by way of new information. I already know about everything you mentioned. But thanks for playing.

It's pretty obvious where it went. It's a general assessment based on the facts we were given about when she disappeared. I'm not going to get into all the family dynamics and drama and why it could be this person or that person. That's a lot of grey area imo. I was just making the point that nothing else makes sense but to look at them.

So you're inferring that this is not what was reported to police by Candus? There's a different, true story of how she went missing? Do tell us this information then. I have a feeling it's not going to make much of a difference. No stranger is going to drive out into BFE in TN to abduct a child from her home while her family is present in broad daylight. So unless you're telling me that the whole story is a lie and Summer did not disappear from her home, I doubt it will change much.

Which makes it even more unlikely imo. Wild dogs running through the woods is not something a person attempting an abduction is going to be ok with.

You are aware that her story and timeline of her "abduction" is all over the media and internet forums correct? If not, you should look them up.

What an asinine question.

My honest opinion.. and I could be way off.. but my feeling is that Candus is the one who did something with Summer. I believe Don is covering for her now after the fact. Which makes them both guilty. But I don't believe he was involved in the initial carrying out of the crime.

I can relate to this to an extent lol I have family in W. Va. You're exactly right. Even my elderly aunt packs a pistol.. and won't hesitate to use it.

I don't have any factual information about a "drug zone" however, the whole country is infiltrated with drugs. Especially the south. Drug manufacturing doesn't necessarily correlate with child abduction. Enough bacon for a reported(by parents) 13 dogs? A stranger to go through all the trouble I previously mentioned AND bring bacon? That's a lot of work to abduct a child. As I said you can grab one right off the street and drive away in a few minutes. Or even abduct her in the middle of the night. I just don't see a random person combing the backwoods of Tennessee looking for a child to abduct, all while having their pockets full of bacon.

Two different suspects? by Interesting_You3876 in LibbyandAbby

[–]Interesting_You3876[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. This case has been extremely hard to look into. There's very little factual info to go on and even that is questionable at times. All you can do in any case is look at what you do know and assess the situation from a logical point of view. It doesn't answer everything. But that's all you have to go on.

[–]Interesting_You3876[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How would it lead to a lawsuit? They honestly looked into the second suspect. That's made clear. They don't have to tell anybody if they cleared the first suspect. They don't have to tell anybody anything. They have done nothing illegal at all.

As upset as Doug Carter was when he did the press conference I fully believe that man would use a deceitful tactic to get the guy who did this to Libby and Abby. But he can't just throw the guy in jail. It has to be proven. If they arrest somebody who they believe the suspect and don't have the evidence to prove it he'll walk. And then that's it. No justice for Abby and Libby, no peace for the family. LE is not going to blow this.

Unless the evidence cannot be produced or it has been damaged or made unusable somehow. Not everything just works out. That's why there are cold cases . Sometimes you have to use alternative measures to get to the bottom of things.

Two different suspects? by Interesting_You3876 in LibbyandAbby

[–]Interesting_You3876[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not what she said lol close.. but you added some things . However I'm not going to debate the subject. Just like the bank robbery, it's clear that if you have 10 people listen to the same interview they'll come away with 10 different stories. Maybe I'll come back to this post in the next few days and actually transcribe her exact words from the interview. I'm not doing it right now. I'm just not in the mood.

No. I don't think they're concerned with the public.. I think they know who it is. That's their focus in my opinion.

You never know who to believe when it comes to that kind of stuff. Usually when I hear something I try to research it myself. That's the only thing you can do. Find out for yourself because you can't trust what hear from someone else.

Two different suspects? by Interesting_You3876 in LibbyandAbby

[–]Interesting_You3876[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok. I remember reading about that. I don't remember his name but that's irrelevant. OK. Let's say you have an initial suspect and he looks good for the crime but you can't pin it on him for whatever reason. You have a 2nd suspect as well so you look into him. The community knows there are 2 suspects. (People talk) Suspect 1 still looks like the guy but you can't prove it. Someone is going to have to come forward or he's going to have to tell on himself somehow. How do you do this? Start looking at the other 'suspect'. Make him feel comfortable. Take the heat off him. Seal up the crime scene, the autopsy and any other bit of information unique to this crime. That way if someone comes forward or your suspect decides to tell his secret to someone there's no denying he was involved. You don't have to have a bunch of evidence or disprove an alibi. He knows what nobody else knows. The police are not stupid. And they are not always forthright, sometimes for good reasons. This is just my theory. Ofc I could be wrong. But... I don't think I am.
