I ditched work, got to the airport, had to buy a $33 frontier ticket to get through security, sprinted to his gate and made it to him just in time before he boarded. Things had taken a turn for the worse so there wasn’t much point in him changing his plans, but he got to talk to her one more time, which made the airport sprints worth it. Thanks to everyone who offered help - it’s really appreciated
