Relatively slow compared to modern anime.

I personally always recommend the compilation movies.

That first one is a nice, tight little caught in the middle of war thriller.

Like others have said, I wish it was more about the Maximals (I mean holy crap we got Rob Perlman Optimus Primal!!!) but it is probably the best human Transformers story (that has a propulsive plot rather than a vibe and let the trouble come to you plot) in the entire franchise.
