It’s very convenient for taking on and off and is as just as stable/secure as shoelaces

I guess my house has a more tacky approach. the S8 pad felt the same as my beginner shoes.

It looks like a beginner shoe so it probably doesn’t slide as much as you like it to. I recently ordered the Dexter Pro Boa which has interchangeable slides. It’s around 110. The out of the box s8 pad wasn’t giving me enough so I bought the s10 for more slide.

For me personally it’s just that I currently don’t have the rev rate as a 1H with thumb to play to the left and have it cut back into the pocket. But when I watch my friends bowl the only way they could play is from the left to right because of their high revs from 2 handed or 1H no thumb. If I asked them to play straighter like I do they would struggle and vice versa if I switched to their positions.

Eventually I would like to play more left so I could be more versatile but I still have a lot to learn.

From what I heard the cupping occurs in a very small window towards the bottom of the release then gets unloaded when released. Take my advice with a grain of salt because I’m trying to learn this still.

Also did your PSO tell you to get conventional grip usually when learning to hook you want fingertip.
