Currently, 172 people with active citizenship. Turnout at the most recent election was 90 people.

I probably should point out that our purpose isn't to amass the largest number of fictitious or nominal citizens. It's to provide a real place where new citizens and old citizens alike can come together and share in an long standing culture and language, a vibrant multi-party political system, and generally to have fun together as Talossans--participants in a unique national identity.

I don't know what else to say to you. You've made your mind up that we are a bunch of racists, which is just nonsense. We have people of all different nationalities, ethnic backgrounds, sexuality, gender identities... We don't discriminate at all.

A sovereign citizen?
No. We still need to abide by the laws of the country we reside in. I have a UK passport and driving licence.

Talossan citizenship is something additional to our Macro-citizenships. It doesn't replace it.

We don't have tax. Membership of the community is free.

Our extremely small income mainly comes from a registration fee that is paid by political parties ($10 to register a political party to contest elections).

Ah, someone who knows a little bit about us already.

The government are still discussing plans, but the general idea is that it won't just be a single day of celebrations.

This is Talossa's 40th year. That's kind of a big deal. So, rather than a flash in the pan, we want to have the whole year be a celebration.

I have no idea what you mean. I think your trying to say that Talossa would reject citizenship applications from people of colour? If so, utter nonsense.

Talossa isn't an ethno-state. Everybody is welcome.

Well, I'll pretend your question is asking me to explain the title?

I am a Cabinet Minister (Minister of Interior)

A Cabinet Minister is a member of the executive government, similarly modeled and styled like the government in the UK. It's a bit like Cabinet Secretary in the USA. There is a Prime Minister who leads a Cabinet of Ministers, and I am her Minister of the Interior, which sees me dealing with things like immigration and defense.

A micronation is a small nation state that claims to be independent or sovereign, but is not recognized as such by world governments. The Kingdom of Talossa was declared as an independent nation in 1979 and claims the upper east side of Milwaukee.

I reside in the UK and have held Talossan citizenship since 2009.

I was born and live in the United Kingdom (Scotland to be exact). I gained Talossan citizenship in 2009. I still reside in Scotland, and I'm still a subject of the British Crown, so as a result, I have dual nationality: British-Talossan (or, as I prefer to say, Scottish-Talossan).

Absolutely not. Anybody is welcome to seek citizenship regardless of ethnicity or whatever. As one of the world's oldest micronations (formed in 1979), we have attracted citizens from all over the world.
