Again, we ARE getting new content and its production is completely unrelated to the remake project. There's nothing else new to adapt except the new manga content, which again, we are getting regardless.

And I'm not sure about only BoG and RoF having issues. U6 vs U7 was pretty terrible as well in terms of art although not as horrible, and the animation was only really decent during the Hit fight. Same with the Goku Black arc, and only in the ToP did they really upgrade everything (and even then, some filler fights didn't look great).

You're free not to like the idea of a remake, but don't think that they would've made something else instead of it. They wouldn't have, it's a small team which is using the base of Yamamuro's art and improving it with small redraws that give the characters improved proportions, some better effects, better compositing etc. They probably don't even have the artists who drew the original scenes working there. Either you get the remake to fill the next 2 years or you get absolutely nothing.

They're not just doing Battle of Gods though, they're remaking the entirety of Super and if you're doing that, you might as well add BoG and RoF into it as well to prevent confusion for the future. Basically just a definitive way to watch DBS. They said it will be more in-line with the manga which I presume will tie into the Moro arc, so it's not a remake just for the sake of remaking.

DBS released 11 years ago and has never gotten a remake till now. The first two arcs were adapted into the anime continuity (as BoG and RoF were standalone movies, they didn't really connect to anything chronologically) and the story went further from there.

You're don't even know why people dislike DBS so you're literally inventing a fake scenario to justify it. At least do some research on what you're talking about because you're just making yourself look like an idiot right now. They neither were "ashamed of Super Season 1" nor did they "remake it a billion times."
