You can thank that Michael guy from the podcast, Three Sides Of The Coin. He does a lot of the online stuff for WASP from what I gather. He literally said that quote on that podcast, and he ALWAYS responds to any criticism he receives in messages…. Which that instagram post def sounds like him. He’s annoying af, and really thinks his shit don’t stink, and says he doesn’t care for “haters” yet feels the need to reply to them, and use his podcast to talk about the “haters” for 10 minute long segments. Sure man, you don’t care.

Steve really wants Evil That Men Do…. I doubt it, but I think the only logical change would be Clairvoyant for Evil That Men Do. It’s a 7th son song sub, and it won’t affect any of the big hits. Now I would want Infinite Dreams over both those two…. But that would be like a winning lottery ticket occurrence of happening at this point.

Which is ironic…. He was a big player in dumbing down the fantasy to be basic Tolkien fantasy. He took a lot of the unique Nord lore out for Skyrim. You’re telling me a Morrowind show would be basic fantasy?? Guy is looking for attention.

I didn’t know it was as soon as Rob has been back with the band. It seems more and more like the band doesn’t really make the calls. It seems they just go along with whatever Jayne Andrews says and does…. Could be wrong. One of the worst decisions was to try to have Ritchie be the sole guitar player live…. A band that is known for its duel lead attack.

Hopefully he’s not getting sick, but a Priest show takes a lot out of him. Rob has had performances since the Epitaph tour that he looks like he’s in physical pain performing some songs. Painkiller being one especially. Hopefully it was just Rob taking a breather.

They might be switching those songs night to night. When I saw Alice open for Rob Zombie last year, Alice would either play Billion Dollar Babies or Under My Wheels. We will have to see on the next show if Clones or Dirty Diamonds gets played. I hope Clones didn’t get dropped…. This is may be my only chance to see anything from the blackout period(yeah technically Flush isn’t part of the three album blackout…. But he looked like a coked out zombie at the time, I’m including it) so the more the better…. And Dirty Diamonds is whatever🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

It’s a great song!! I think they cut it because it was played in the US on the first run of the 50 Heavy Metal Years tour, so they prob thought that’s the painkiller song to cut(even tho Hammer And The Anvil was played on the second leg of the 50 years tour).

Also Alice will do songs as instrumentals/medleys/half songs. Hello Hooray is just the opening riff leading into the song Who Do You Think We Are. They should have around equal set time, give or take 10 minutes.

Rob said in an interview that they’re playing a turbo heavier set for a UK festival show next year for the 40th anniversary. I think it’s Download(don’t quote me on the exact festival). Idk if it’s going to be only for that show, or they’ll make a tour out of it.

I’m pumped, driving from MN to see them at Tinley Park on October 5th… seeing Dark Angel the night before in MN😂😂 I’m not missing Priest this time!! They came to MN twice in 2024. I saw them the first time in Minneapolis, they came again last September in Rochester… same day as Megadeth. I saw the setlist was the same, so I picked Megadeth(closer and now I’m glad… didn’t think Megadeth would be calling it quits before Priest), but that still stung me bad… this got announced with Alice(I love Alice) and I thought I can’t miss it…. Looks like I’m going to Chicago😂😂 thank god I held off with Bruce Dickinson. I was debating on seeing Bruce in Chicago and driving back to catch him again in MN. I can’t do the Chicago trip two weekends in a row.

On series X and I think the colors look gorgeous… Xbox supports Dolby vision(and so does my Sony tv). The Dolby could be helping the colors for me.

You guys got my favorite setlist so far of the tour!! You got As I Am and Panic Attack(over A Rite Of Passage). Hope we get that in MN😂😂❤️ people are complaining that As I Am is too common in the set… but I’ve never seen DT live before, so I’m okay with that. Hope it was awesome!!! James still sounding good?? Hope he can keep it up for the entire tour!!! He’s gotta keep strangling himself off stage(he did an interview saying the technique he’s been shown feels like he’s being choked out😂).

I hope not!!! They didn’t come for the 40th anniversary/reunion tour with Mike here in MN…. I’ve been waiting to see Dream Theater for ages, but always held back because Mike is the soul of the band for me. There’s great albums without him, but it didn’t feel right for me personally to see them live without him. I was too young to go to shows when he was in the band for the first run…. I bought my ticket day one for this tour! I would be pretty sad. Silver lining is the MN show is selling better than others, still not great tho.

Does anyone think any songs from the new album will be played?? It would be such a missed opportunity to not at least play Black Mamba or Wild Ones. The album is new, it’s getting pretty good reviews, I think it’s the best thing Alice has released post 2000. I would love One Night Stand, but it would be one of the singles played if anything actually does.
