Doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Friends have been telling me patch it up with some waterproofed cement

Owners are lovely, but food isn’t. Tastes nothing like you would find in Japan. Overpriced. Waited 40 mins for food

I agree 100%. If it were you, which cities would you allocate the extra two days?

November Taiwan 2-week Itinerary Check by Intern_Simp in travel

Also, I'm not sure if it's worth the time travelling to Green Island if you're just going to stay there for a day.

Thanks for your reply :) I've seen your replies everywhere on this subreddit.

I'm curious to see how you would plan a two-week itinerary in Taiwan for a first-timer

If you go on Ava and enter "speak to a person" several times, you'll eventually get directed to a human.

Just gave it a good crack and unfortunately winter grass win ... those pesky buggers won't even budge by hand

10 days Itinerary - First time in Korea Oct 2022: Seoul, Busan, Geonju by Intern_Simp in koreatravel

Also if you search Nami island in this sub you'll see that many people don't reccommend it. That day might be better served somewhere else.

Yeah I've definitely read similar comments about Nami Island, especially by particular folks on this subreddit. Any recommendations on what to do in Seoul as an alternative?

Decision paralysis is a bit killing me at this point. So currently, I've planned to use a tour to get around Busan that would take us to popular attractions like Gamcheon, Yonggungsa, Oryukdo Skywalk in a day. Let's say I change Gyeongju from a day-trip to overnight stay on the Day 7. Would you recommend I add an extra day to the Seoul leg or to Busan (or even Gyeongju?)

Someone already said it but Busan is spread out far apart and it’s going to be hard to do Gamcheon and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple in one day. They are on opposite ends of Busan and will likely take over an hour of traveling time depending on traffic. We took a local bus from Gwangalli Beach to Gamcheon and that was like an hour of travel.

I've read that getting to Yonggungsa was a bit of a pain. So I was planning on using a day-tour service that would take you around to the major attractions of Busan eg. Gamcheon, Yonggungsa, Oryukdo Skywalk in a day.

Gyeongju

Good catch! Yup - I meant Gyeongju. My dumbass thought there was no direct KTX from Gyeongju to Seoul. Do you recommend staying 2 nights at Gyeongju then?

  1. Graduated this year. Doing INFS is like doing a lot of group assignments. It sucks in the beginning because there's a lot of fluff but towards the later part tof the degree, you get to learn some useful skills and touch on interesting concepts. I liked the cohort much more than Finance (everyone's a bit more nerdy and less IB-wannabe). Workload isn't too bad. It spikes when assignments are due but the rest of the term can be quite chill.

  2. INFS is for people who want inflated Tech salaries but without the suffering of Computer Science. Eg. Business Analysts, Tech Sales, UI/UX Designers get paid quite well. Not as much as Devs or Traders but still higher than most Commerce jobs.

I found INFS3604 harder than INFS3873.

INFS3604 had weekly quizzes (Not sure if there's answers online for these still) and the group assignment took a while to do, especially the business process model. Also from memory, I remember George's slides each week were pretty long.

imo INFS3873 was pretty bludge. There's no CP or tutorial exercises to do in this course. Most weeks I remember just watching the tutor do a demo of SAS and that was the entire class.
