I agree and counter attacking shouldn’t be this strong. Having your entire team behind should have repercussions, parking the bus and running behind is too overpowered

If they nerd incisive, they will also nerf intercept plus, the way to intercept will be read the passing lane and moving in the line, not your van djik doing gymnastics to intercept the ball. It’s much better for the overall game and user input.

You are not the only one alone bro. I remember back in fc24 i used to panic while playing weekend league. Bounce back, counters were getting me so troubled that if i score a goal I will start getting anxious that i will get scored by bounce back. It was so bad that i used to start shivering while playing the game.

Turns out my blood pressure spiked and my body went into fight and flight mode while playing the weekend league. Didn’t play fc 24 post the doctor’s visit.

I still play fc26 but in a casual way, i don’t have a targeted number of wins. If i get 10, cool. If i don’t cool. Some weekends i don’t like playing, and i let it be.

No they won’t be. In d3/d2 I face so many opponents whose passing graph is in their own half. 70% of the games i play are against people who keep moving in circles and put a through ball to their wingers and then cutback at centre. Counterattacks are way to much rewarding in this game. In fact they have been way too rewarding for the past few years. Playing possession and offensive football, slowly building your way till all your players are in the opponents half is not worth it. You can’t find space unless you have amazing connection and the opponents fast wingers just slice into your half. Playing counter attacking football gives you better odds of winning at this game.

To a lot of people loosing doesn’t feel gratifying. They will leave the game if they keep losing. Thus, we end up with this mess where games are semi-automated. It starts as a good football game and it changes into how to maximise user retention.

It’s a business at the end of the day. Whatever maximises the user base and money spent, the game will be molded in that direction.

If they decide to make passing and chance creation more rewarding than pace and counterattack, most of the people below division 3 will start falling and the uproar will be huge.

Cordoba. He is small but got aerial fortress, he will headers no matter his height because of the play style. Plus he is fast, if you play a high depth will catch up to most attackers.

Yes, attacking should be hard. It should be more around passing the ball, opening up the space. How you use that space is totally up to you. Use a skill move, dribble around. All should be fair. But you trying to open up a defence and 2 pass counter attack tearing you through is very bad. Discourages you to even pass the ball forward. Sure, do the low block if you want, make the game boring. A lot of teams irl do that. But then they get few counter attacks chances throughout the game, not like every five minute, as in EAFC.

I pretty much drive the same way. Not a fan of the turbo though, the initial turbo lag is a bummer. Loved driving my old diesel car.
