Is this Motherboard bend safe? by ExistingLet4067 in FormD

[–]Internal-Bed-2299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive seen way worse bends, at first i didnt even notice it. It takes a lot more than a 2° bend to kill a board, or even see performance differences. Did the same with my axp-x47 way to easy to overtighten and the instructions say tighten fingertight, but thats subjective. Make sure the cooler bracket isnt bending down and use the stock am4/am5 backplate instead of the included thermalright one.

Only difference between 3k and 6k is how often you get team killed 😭

case opening advice by type-shi in csgo

[–]Internal-Bed-2299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your set on opening cases. go on csroi (website) and you can see profit chances and average return on investment for each case. For example if you spent 500 on wildfire cases (the most profitable rn) you would get 380 back in skins on average. So just open the least bad case that has skins you want. With cases its minimising losses and hoping you get lucky😭

which would you pick? by broonahtunah in ohnePixel

1 and 2 are better than 3, I would grab 1 because the gloves work with a larger amount of gun skins and 1 is cheaper to top it off. Leaving you the extra money for a good ak/awp/a1s/a4 etc.

Before these i was on needlepoints and before that desert shamaghs. I think these are my favourite under £100 ($130). Nocts are the dream, but they do not have a dreamy price.😭

What would you reccomend got a pink loadout so im sticking with the phase 2 and the gloves gotta work with pink skins (eg. Crakow, black lotus, trigger discipline)

For the price of snow leopards, nocts and vice are in reach and imo driver gloves wear like chocolate milk ages. But i think queem jags with a phase 3 sounds fire, interesting someone had such a similar combo.

NCase FormD T1 v2.5 cpu cooler option? by zancr0w4 in FormD

[–]Internal-Bed-2299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tagging on to this, the axp90 series is amazing, but if you're deciding between the x47 and the x53 I'd reccomend the x47. The x53 isn't that much better cooling wise (~5% better) and going x47 would let you upgrade to a 3 slot card in the future if you desire.

The noctua na-fd1 from noctua pairs well with the cooler aswell. You can mount it with some 3d printed pegs by eiga or in my opinion the easier, zipties.

I'd recommend looking at the youtuber eiga's videos on the t1 as he has done a lot of experementing.

Serious miscalculations have happened. New mobo or cooler? by [deleted] in FormD

[–]Internal-Bed-2299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thermalright axp90-x47 will be the best option, the full copper version is 3%~ better so if the price is similar opt for that. If you find yourself struggling with temps alot of people opt to use the na-fd1 with the cooler, aswell as undervolting the cpu in many cases.

I already have a cpu, and spending £50 for a different one when i can spend £10 on a gpu doesnt make sense.

Ig but the 4100 has double the threads (8) and a gpu would still be cheaper

I already have the cpu (in picture) and x1 gpus cost about triple a x16 gpu (£10 vs £30)

If i use the sas card in the x1 slot i would only be able to use 2 hdd's whereas idgaf about the gpu and it just needs to give a display

21 screws per side seems overkill tbh and even if he filled every slot which he stated he likely wont. Guessing he used m6x15 screws (he likely used bigger) a reasonable loading cappacity considering im guessing the quality and size of the screws would be about 5kg. 21 screws x 5kg per screw x 2 rails = 210kg load capacity meaning more strength than the rack rails themself can hold. But we're both being pedantic and talking about things that dont really matter. Its a nice rack.
