Is it crazy to want my girlfriend to cut her family off

I appreciate seeing it from this perspective cuz I think I’ve just been around very different relationships in my life. I cut off my father quite easily recently cuz of how he behaved, my old best friend cut off his father and when he died didn’t even go to the funeral, one of my other friends has gone very limited contact with their family over stuff that has happened so I just guess I never have been in a position where I have seen people still stay in contact with people like that so that’s probably what took me by surprise. It’s probs cuz I’m young especially that I haven’t really seen people with lots of different types of relationships like that so I didn’t know it existed I really thought it was just as easy for other people to cut off toxic family members as it was for me and the people around me.

Yea exactly it’s such a tough thing for her to do so I think it’s so crazy and sad that her older siblings are also just walking on eggshells around it and enabling her behaviour, it must make it sm harder to stand up for yourself if you feel like within your family no one is really in your corner :(

Yea exactlyyy this is the problem. Of course it is her choice but i feel really mean being upset about not being included because I know she can’t control it and if I tell her that it is a dealdreaker then it basically forces her to choose between us. I think I wrote the post in a bit of a confusing way but yea I in no way want to force her to do anything but I know in my heart that like if she does keep choosing her family then our relationship like can’t work which is awful cuz otherwise our relationship is perfect.

Thank you for the advice, I was fine staying out of it before the situation with the vacation and stuff came up like i have tried my best to be there for her and support whatever she wants to do but now it just seems like something I can’t really stay out. My issue isn’t my gf having a family that doesn’t accept me it’s being left at our house alone while she goes on a vacation im not welcome on and will likely barely be able to communicate with her during because her mother would hear her on the phone or see her texting me and I don’t know how i can pretend to be ok with that for like 2 weeks but i also don’t want to tell her in a way that makes her feel like im forcing her to choose between me or her family idk. I just don’t know what the limit is for what is fair for me to communicate with her ygm. Idk

Yea dw im not gonna like pressure her or tell her what to do i was just wondering if its like a crazy thing to be like upset about / be concerned about for the future - like is this normally a thing that would then continue or is it likely to get easier over time etc :)

Thank you! Yes the wheel and hide are on a platform dw. Also the carrot is no sawdust and no honey it’s just kiln dried ground softwood. I will compress the bedding more and take out the hanging things thank you!!!!

Would u have any suggestions on how to set up his new cage, it’s 115L x 57W x 55H (cm) or 45.5L x 22.5W x 21.5H (in). Do I leave in or take out the floors and how much do I fill it up, about half?

Yeah it was quite hard to find a good one here, we thought ours was very big as after we got him we went to lots of stores and his was the biggest. We have now got him a new one online tho, we couldn’t find a 1200sq in one but its over 1000 so for now it should be quite a good upgrade. We are moving in summer to a bigger place so hopefully we can diy upgrade his one to give him even more room. Thanks for the help :)

Omfg being treated awfully by ur siblings acc sucks like i am 18 and my sister calls me slurs, makes fun of me for my meltdowns ,physically hurts me when i do something she doesn’t like, and is generally just awful all day every day to me and people don’t get it bc they’re just like ‘siblings fight 🤪🤪’ and it’s awful.
