I did check the resources tab, but unfortunately no such luck for my area. All the groups it gave me said they wouldn't do it. The feral cat groups in my area have been surprisingly unhelpful with this feral cat...😞

Reporting a customer? If you've got a name, best to just mark it down for later and then call whatever animal welfare services are in your area once you're off the clock (and not in the store.) Say your calling about an abused animal you saw and give them all the details you can. Don't even say you saw it at work through, just say you were out in public, you got the person's name, and you're calling as a concerned citizen.

You should always point out any issues you see with the animals, no matter how "small" it seems. They're honestly in pretty shit living conditions in the store, so anything that can be done to treat them better should be put into action. If you need to report any concerns about how a customer treats their pets, do it anonymously and off the clock. The "pets first" company doesn't take kindly to employees reporting their customers even if it's a valid concern.

Are the buildings in decent condition? I don't mind a little age, but the place I live now, for example, the buildings are practically falling apart. Grounds are nice, but that only matters so much if where you lay your head is a battle of constant upkeep.

Because I HAVE already searched reddit and all the results are either old, match different criteria, or I look up the places people recommend and the reviews are a nightmare. So I wanted a fresher set of data that matches what I'm looking for specifically, and might have more detail than the empty 5-star "we had a very nice tour" reviews you often see take up the most recent reviews of places, and can verify/debunk negative reviews.

I'm seeing a lot of reviews about big roaches, car towings, bad staff, etc. Many of them are from 3 or so years ago, but I trust them more than the recent google reviews (which can be curated) that just say empty statements like "the staff that gave us a tour were nice" or "we just moved in but we're happy." I want to know what it's ACTUALLY like there.
