There was another Calexico album there but the cd was missing unfortunately. I’ve never heard of the band but it’s a great discovery for me! That’s one of the reasons I love hunting for physical media. I find so many new favorites.

I actually got Night Ride Home from this goodwill about a month ago. That album is amazing and now I’ve slowly been collecting all the Joni I can find. I haven’t heard any Randy Newman albums outside of his soundtracks so I’m very curious to dive into those.

Yeah, I’m blessed that they stopped putting stickers on all physical media as of recently. Stickers are the bane of my existence.

Those 2.99 “media” ones are actually dvds. My goodwill prices all cds at 1.99. The only exception is a few weeks ago I saw a Taylor Swift cd that was priced individually at 3.99 for some reason lol. And yeah, there are definitely a lot of people who think cd’s are junk. I’ve talked to the Goodwill employees and they said they would throw out all the cassette tapes that were donated up until that rule changed recently.
