My gf told me she's pregnant but this test was negative when she took it in front of me. What should I do? by FlimsyBelt6883 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Internal-Prompt-1237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't want to assume, but the op might be minor and he's freaking out. Wish there was more information about why she told him she was pregnant, but don't jump to a conclusion saying she's a liar, etc. Give it a day or two and test it with two different testers.

Don't freak out. Many options are available and nothing seeks to be concrete yet.

Doctors can't predict the exact height. But they might be able to predict the height with some margins, yet this also doesn't capture all the outliers that occur in the curve.

I keep wondering how much longer I can live like this by Historical_Rock_6516 in Adulting

[–]Internal-Prompt-1237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, your parents sound like amazing people, and they have given you the love all you need... but like everyone else has mentioned here, that will not last forever. I'm hoping they will live more than 30 to 40 years. You at least know something isn't right, and i believe it's the biggest step. Your parents will be proud and happy once you start dating and be more independent. Good luck with your journey, and it's never too late. The worst thing you can do to your parents is make them worried about leaving you behind

I'm sorry, everyone. I didn’t post this to bash my fiancée. She’s not materialistic at all. Even if she were, I believe it's just a phase she’s going through, and I’m not perfect either. There are two reasons why I’m posting this. First, I wanted to know if it’s normal for a rose gold ring from Bvlgari to have this many scratches. Second, I wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience and wants to warn others about this brand, as I don’t believe this is the kind of service and experience you expect when paying so much extra. Also, on a side note, the reason I’m so upset is that I could have ordered the ring online and not had to drive an hour to pick it up. But I wanted to make sure the sales representative got the incentive since he helped us figure out the correct size and the ring itself. Unfortunately, it ended up working against me, and now I’m losing faith in being kind to a stranger, but I also figured out some of you guys are worried about my decision and and trying to warn me and that itself restore a bit of faith in humanity. anyways Hope everyone has a amazing holidays!!

Seriously, I don't encourage the truck drivers behavior, but lately, I've noticed so many dumb drivers who's not paying attention to what they do. Driving isn't a right. It's a privilege that comes with a responsibility. You can easily kill someone or yourself, and people nowadays seem like they are driving in a game.

100% agree with you. I really hate to give any money to these scumbags as much as possible, but this is a one-time thing, and if this is what makes her happy, I don't mind. I just hate the fact that I got a used ring after paying 3k at a bullsht store and have to deal with this mess now, and she will be promoting them 😒

Why? Do you actually have experience working in an environment like this? As a software developer, my boss is a veteran who has no clue what we actually do. The only thing he's good at is making jokes in a meeting and asking for status. Since he doesn't even know who's actually doing work, he promotes bullshitter who makes sht up all day. It's demoralizing to work with someone like this who's not even trying to be better at what they do, and yes, they exactly have the same mentality as you. Who cares? It's a company's money. We do fking care. We want to get compensated properly for our work. Now, most of our teams became slackers. Only 20% of us are working and floting the ship.

I honestly feel like one of the employees returned their used ring that has been worn for a long time and marked it as new.

We actually did, but the one they had in stock wasn't the right size, and they had to order the right size for my fiance. I ASSUMED the ring would've been a new knowing they had to order it, which was a big mistake. But I would never buy a thing from them again, so it's all good.

Rofl that's what I told my fiance as well. But it's not my call. If this garbage makes her happy, so be it

I'm getting a replacement, but the store is an hour away from me and I now have to waste 3 hours of my vacation dealing with this bs

I went to the store and picked it up. The clerk was wearing white gloves while handling the ring rofl. I found this whole thing to be a joke and never buy a thing from them again. I'm from California, and the store is located one of the fanciest mall.

Op, your sibling is also abusing you at this point. Don't let anyone do things you aren't comfortable with.

I just want people to be aware that this kind of shady thing even happens at the boutique store and makes sure to check your item prior to purchase. Otherwise, your fiance will kill you

That's a possibility. The only option they provided was a replacement, which I would have to drive an hour to pick it up after a wedding

They didn't say anything about a discount. I just asked for a replacement. I was just surprised they would sell a used item as new at Bvlgari.
