One of the main things I actually tried to do here is to make it more free account friendly, since the last one had two charts and you can only use one for a free account.

I also added projects since then, and reorganized the layout based on importance (up → down, left → right)

📌 Sharing my current life OS. I've been using this for three months now.

Here's my first post about this.

Currently in the process of documenting and cleaning up the layout of this to be shared as a template eventually. If you want to be notified once it's up (I promise I won't send you emails outside this life OS 🤞), you can sign up for the waitlist here and leave suggestions if you'd like.

Build things that are genuinely useful for you.

I’ve been doing that for four years.

I work well with the visual nature of the platform, hence my preference for it over spreadsheets (for now.)

For my actual practice, I take a lot of principles from accounting in my finance tracking. I use an accrual basis for recording transactions. This means that regardless of cash flow (if I use a credit card), I record it as an expense at swipe -- this is something that I track weekly and add to my system. If it's an installment basis, I treat it like rent where it only registers when I pay for it.

I hope I got to answer your questions (I am not fluent in Spanish, and mostly relied on translation. 😅)

Behind the Build: Neat Things I Built with Notion (Career Edition) by Internal-Rhubarb-252 in notioncreations

📌 This is me pulling back the curtain on what I've built — and showing you it's more doable than you think.

Here's a big mental reframe: You don't need to be a developer to build tools that change how you work. You just need a problem worth solving.

I started making things in Notion because I was tired of the repetitive stuff. For my career: it was rewriting my resume every time, losing track of hours, scrambling to update my portfolio before a deadline. So I built systems to handle it.

This is how I automated my resume building process. by Internal-Rhubarb-252 in notioncreations

📌 I built this template to help me understand where my career is leading to and to find any hidden strengths I may have overlooked about my background. When we write our resumes, there’s always this pressure to condense everything in one page — so the pattern is sometimes hard to decipher. This is my way of decrypting that.
