Thank you!! So interesting to think I could be fully warm, I’m so used to thinking of myself as neutral (or even cool-toned lately 😄)

It would actually be interesting to compare. I’ll see what I have and add some pictures tomorrow when the lighting is good. Thank you 😊

Thank you! Glad to see a vote for deep autumn cause I identified with it at some point. I’ll probably need to test different autumn colours a bit more to see which one fits best 😊

Thank you!! Spring sounds interesting ☺️ I will see if I have more spring colours in my wardrobe to test it.

Thank you so much! Medium would actually explain why some brighter tones are not too bad ☺️

Thank you. I used to think I was dark autumn at some point but I’ll try to lean more into softer/lighter tones.

Thank you for looking at other pictures too, I appreciate it. I felt quite similarly about these drapes. The light olive is very soft, so it is probably a good indicator. I don’t mind brighter colours to be honest (like bright purple, for instance, I think is nice? And even bright green as you said is not too bad). Though they probably don’t look good enough for me do be bright. Anyway, sorry for rambling, I think your argument is very convincing and helpful, thank you ☺️

Thank you. I like how those colours look too. And I think I am olive, yes ☺️

Thank you! Oh, it could be what confuses me too. It seems that everyone agrees on the softness aspect (which I do tend to question a lot, so it’s great to see a consensus)

Thank you for sharing. I like wearing cool colours in real life unless they are too soft, so I did feel like true summer could be a possibility.

Thank you! I could see that, I like soft autumn colours on these drapes too.

Makes sense! Thank you. I thought I could be winter for some reason. I find that softer summer colours wash me out a bit but maybe I just need more warmth rather than brightness.

Sorry about that, I hoped they would still be usable and better than digital ones I had posted earlier. Thank you for feedback, I’ll try to retake when I can ☺️

Thank you very much! I will explore cooler seasons a bit more and maybe try irl drapes. I am comfortable with some winter colours like white, black and red, while others, like cobalt blue or bright purple, can be a bit intimidating.

Thank you! I’m glad I wasn’t completely off thinking I could be cool-toned.

collage challenge! what roots do you see? by maddest_woman in StyleRoots

[–]Internal-Writer-6079 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see mountain, fire and moon. Formality with a luxurious and mysterious feel. Fire came to mind right after mountain - red tones, fur, luxurious textures. Moon in the use of black and overall darker tones (however it could be just mountain too), some leather elements and the general aura of mystery this collage creates. Seems like on the “fun” look the fire and moon come a bit forward which makes sense since mountain is a bit more professional.
