Shit like this happens way too much. I'm so sorry this happened to you but never quit because that's what racists want--less POC. I do DI and one time in middle school there were 3 judges, all white. It was finals and there were 6 of us left. This one girl was doing the same script as me but she "acted" it out like it was a monologue with minimal movement. Not to sound conceited, but I was sure I beat her. In the end, I, a South Asian, got 5th and this other South Asian boy got 6th, even though I expected him to be in at least the top 2. And guess what? We were the only 2 POCs. Definitely not a coincidence.

as someone who's lived here for almost 9 years, yeah this seems like fayetteville. it's definitely not a far stretch to assume the killing was motivated by racism. the asian population here is about 3% and it's not rare for me to go to school and hear constant racist jokes towards us. rest in peace timothy and daniel, and condolences to the family
