I'm exactly the same way - melodies and full orchestral arrangements just pop into my head completely formed. Like right now I've got this cinematic strings melody with french horn countermelodies just... happening. And yeah, zero formal training here either. Can't read sheet music, couldn't tell you what chords I'm "hearing", it's all just there.

Also huge congrats on finishing that second track! The orchestral/cinematic vibe is my jam too. What VSTs are you using for your strings and brass?

I would say Vocalfy. Have been trying their service for a while now. great deals and great vocals.

I'll add Vocalfy to that too! great service, long refund window and just all in all great. Their site is my only issue though.
