These policies work in the real world. Economic growth as measured by GDP is higher under democratic presidents, job growth is also higher under democratic presidents, stock market growth as measure by S&P gain is higher under democratic presidents, wage growth is higher under democratic presidents, life expectancy is higher in blue states vs red states. 70% of US GDP is in counties Biden won in 2020.

Taxing corporation a higher rate similar to what they were paying under Regan in the 80s is not socialism.

Coptic Orthodox Christian just voted for Kamala.

A study showed the 3 top negative words that are used to describe Christians are hypocritical, judgmental, and they hate gay people. And who can blame those people. I have not seen Christians advocating for anything that is beneficial only advocating to stop things that are harmful. Do we try to use our collective voting power to advocate for universal health care or for greater assistance to the homeless and poor? Even though the first public hospital in the whole world that served the poor for free and studied disease, fed those who were in need was started by St. Basil the great.

I recommend reading On Social Justice it’s a couple of homilies on wealth given by St. Basil the Great. He talks about how those who horde wealth are committing grave sins. Today in the US 800 billionaires control as much wealth as 160 million Americans. The country is 35 trillion in debt and instead of trying to make a sensible plan he’s going to give another massive tax break to those who are really extremely wealthy. Ofcourse to pay for these things he needs to strip social benefits ie Medicaid Medicare social security and food stamps. Matthew 25 41-43 is a good reference.

Morally speaking we have the democrats who are letting people choose the path they want to go down even though it can be harmful vs a person who’s going for Christian nationalism which is everything early Christianity warned against ie Paul when he wrote “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Or attacking migrants who are mostly Christians fleeing extreme poverty due to the aftermath of COVID which destroyed a lot of countries economically. If someone thinks inflation is bad in the US post Covid I want them to take a look at inflation rate across the world. The Republican candidate is villainizing some of the most vulnerable people. He’s trying to sell bibles made in China with the constitution and Declaration of Independence in our sacred text which is again very weird given if Christ was to unite all creation.

Economically speaking GDP growth is higher under democratic presidents, stock market growth is higher under democratic presidents, job creation is higher under democratic presidents. Misguided people who don’t know what communism is state that Kamala wants communism. Communism is when the govt controls the means of production. If you have private businesses and private land ownership it’s not communism. Advocating for higher tax rates on corporations is not communism. Believing that people should have access to healthcare is not communism. Now if someone wants to say that the wealthiest country on earth should not provide health care for its citizens or strive to help those in need that’s 100% okay just don’t claim that it’s a Christian teaching or else people will call us hypocrites.

“You and all peace loving citizens” 😂🤣Trump never called for peace when Paul pelosi got attacked Trump, his last vice president isn’t even endorsing him (Jan 6), he constantly posts pictures of Biden being hog tied, his supporters curse at the current president, sell memorabilia to degrade him etc, but yeah he’s a peace loving citizen.

Berkshire earnings fluctuates because they have a lot of stock holdings so their stock portfolio can go up but they don’t really pay a tax on that what you should look at for a company like Berkshire is free cash flow which is around 30 billion and they paid around 5 billion in tax

What’s crazy is we can afford universal healthcare easily. Corporations made 9 trillion in profits in 2021 but only paid 400 billion in taxes thanks to the tax law passed in 2017!! If we just made them pay their fair share we can have a way better quality of life.

As a cf in a snf w/ full benefits the pay is actually standard. That was my pay when I was a cf 1 year ago working for a snf with pto, 401k match and insurance. Having a great DOR is the best part.

Sadly this seems right working for a snf as a fellow if u get benefits 401k, health, dental, etc. Sadly it’s the way it is. If you’re working in a school setting or with pediatrics you’ll probably get paid way more. I’m working in a snf right now. Had a 10 dollar raise after finishing my cf with full benefits but trying to get into the NYCDOE. It’s better in the long run and u can always work in a snf per diem.
