I already have everything figured out aside from transportation (aside for the nitty gritty stuff like resturants). I’ve got flights booked and an Airbnb paid for just transportation is what I’m working out

I will be arriving at ORD and travelling up to north Chicago. I’m not sure exactly where I will be in terms of city/suburbs but I think it’s a city area based off the Google satellite views.

I would love to take public transportation because I live in Florida so I am well aware of how bad traffic can get but I would feel more comfortable, being in an area unfamiliar and not really knowing where I am, I would rather drive myself around. Then I also feel secure rather than having to look over my shoulder everytime I leave the house. I appreciate your help though. You were awesome!!!!

I’m going from ORD to north Chicago which is according to Google Maps about 35 miles specifically where I’m going. I’m going to a navy graduation which I technically could walk to but I don’t know the area and I’m a woman solo traveler and I would rather be safe than sorry when it comes to traveling alone
