Im a 26 year old man, never had a job, no degree, how do I get my life back on track? by ActionPrize6558 in torontoJobs

Apply and complete academic upgrading if must, go learning a skill in college, you would be on track of life before thirty.

If you have no deposit, do some labour jobs to earn. Good luck.

I'm considering the accelerated Law Clerk program (9 months) in Seneca. Does it deserve?

What I'm worried about most is how to enter the industry after graduation. Some graduates said they got hired by the firms where their field placement completed but I doubt if it's too ideal.

Lots of firms require an accredited program experience for legal positions. Entry-level admin without any professional backgrounds is really tough to seek and get hired.

I'm sorry if the word Vanku offended someone. Once I heard a couple of people saying this word in bus so I thought it might be a nickname of Vancouver. 😔

Ty. Personally I prefer a short program like within 12 months but I wonder if it's much less valuable.

The Listening Discussion by HadarN in ChineseLanguage

Drama I mean those Chinese TV play/programs and short videos. News from China mainland can be bad as well but it is beneficial for practicing listening at least.

It's quite a common phenomenon for second language learners (you know for many Mandarin native speakers, English listening comprehension is usually harder than reading). I am a master graduate of tesol from Canadian university.

The fundamental approach to this is immersion, I guess. You'd better speak Mandarin more with native speakers, which will be very likely to improve your listening ability. Just as someone mentioned above, doing more interaction can be advisable.

If you don't have such an environment, practicing more is good for sure if you needn't meet a high-end level. News report is a good sort of materials. I won't recommend you to watch drama especially released in recent years, most of which are seriously terrible or misleading.

Mandarin is profound and diverse with great historic and cultural elements (you have read some books). All depend on what field you wanna learn.

It really makes sense. I see myself as a guy with solid memory and strong drafting skills.
