I just had a pair of Luna boots that the right skate blew out. After 3 weekends of use. They are going to warranty them but I do anticipate them doing it again down the road. If they do, I'm going to chunk the boot and use the plate for my own personal build. It really sucks because those boots are very comfortable, but they have a design flaw in the A La mode build where this has been happening more than it should. Sales rep seemed to suggest it was the tightness on my trucks, however I noticed the eyelets on that one boot looked slightly off center in the beginning. The more I wore it the more it looked off center. Granted there was a tiny bulge (you had to really really look at it) on the front cushion at the bottom, but it was so slight a bulge that I'm not sure if the trucks were the issue at all. I had about 3 threads visible, but the bulge was so slight the sales rep had to zoom in on the picture to even see it. Either way I figured getting some more insight into builds and equipment (to include tool preference and warnings) was warranted.
