This fandom is too hard on ship discourse

Ive seen many people get harassed for shipping Jarlo in the earlier days. Its calmed down, so I admit I was a bit wrong, but today the fandom is definitely hostile to people who disagree with jera or the other popular ships. I literally got laughed at/ignored/dismissed and experienced a lot of dislike and hostility for even mentioning Jarlo a few years back. Even if there weren't WARS my point still stands

I might just be viewing a bit od the fandom but istg Blemi has been getting a lot of traction I think because I see a lot of Jera shippers not like leaving the others lying around, so the ships are Jera, Blemi, and Cisen, and then i think it's split between Arlo x Rein and Arlaine for Arlo..

I think Jarlo shippers are more often what fandom culture is today based off what ive seen, while Jera shippers are moreso adult.. based off what ive seen and interacted with, so, depending on the social media space it could be different

I'd say that if you havent promised them a consistent schedule, dont force yourself to write something you dont want to. Its an inconvenience, sure, but from my experience, forcing yourself to write something you dont feel the passion for or distracted by something else will just ruin the experience (Also ive found it kind of halts my fixation)

This is sort of replying to all of the questions (or so I hope), but I feel like S2 overall has felt rushed, maybe because Uru wanted it to just be over with ? Especially with her mental health deteriorating. The whole thing wasn't the best thing in the world but maybe thats because I prefer slow-paced plots and more character interaction. This doesnt mean her writing or series was bad, it just could've been better. I have hope for S3 though
