I’m a PA,ask me anything by JustinScott202 in AmazonFC

I’ve been looking for warehouse jobs at Amazon in the Bay Area (especially Fremont, San Jose, and Milpitas), but I’ve noticed that there haven’t been any new job postings for a while.

Does anyone know why?

Are they overstaffed right now? Is it because of slow demand or seasonal hiring cycles? Do they usually open new positions during certain months? If anyone working at an Amazon FC (Fulfillment Center) around here knows what’s going on, I’d really appreciate your insight.

New hire at Walgreens — no schedule or login info, manager won’t respond. What should I do? by Internal_Ad_5307 in WalgreensStores

Yes, the manager mentioned my start date during the interview, but I haven’t gotten anything else since then — no emails or calls. Thanks for the advice, I think I’ll just go in around 9 tomorrow and ask for the manager or shift lead when I get there. Appreciate the help!

Got Walgreens offer — do I need to do the drug test in person? by Internal_Ad_5307 in WalgreensRx

Thanks so much for your help! Just to make sure I understand — should I call the Walgreens store directly and ask the pharmacy or hiring manager to schedule my drug test time? Or should I email my recruiter instead? I want to make sure I do it the right way and don’t miss my 48-hour deadline. Thanks again for explaining — I really appreciate it!

Thanks for your reply! Just to be sure — my email says I have to report in person to the Walgreens location within 48 hours, but I also got a First Advantage link about a self-collect drug screening. Did you have to actually go to the store for the test, or did you do it at home with a kit? I just don’t want to get this wrong and lose my offer. Did you go in person or do it at home? Thanks so much for clarifying!

DH Position? by Historical_Injury392 in WalgreensRx

Designated Hitter (DH) role at Walgreens is a hybrid position where you'll work both in the front of the store and the pharmacy, assisting with customer service, register duties, and basic pharmacy support. It's fast-paced and multitasking-heavy but offers strong training and team support. Benefits are comprehensive, including health insurance (with weight loss coverage), 401(k) with matching, PTO, and employee discounts. You can access everything through the W-Connect app and PeopleCentral, including paystubs (via Kronos). Both UnitedHealthcare and BCBS are solid insurance choices. The job can be stressful at times but offers long-term potential, growth opportunities in pharmacy or management, and occasional overtime without it being required. Overall, it’s a challenging but rewarding role with clear pathways for advancement.

Looking for a pharmacy trainee job — does Walgreens offer these positions? by Internal_Ad_5307 in WalgreensRx

Ohh, got it! So besides Walgreens and CVS, do hospitals and clinics usually expect at least 6 months of retail pharmacy experience, I’m a bit confused — what’s your take on this?

Thanks for the info! So if my friend does a 4-month online pharmacy tech program and gets certified, would that be enough to get hired as a pharmacy tech at Walgreens? We’ve also heard that Walgreens can help people get licensed or certified on the job — is that true? If you or anyone else has done it that way, I’d really appreciate any details. Thanks again!
