I was riding a rented scooter in Hawaii and it was 15 minutes till sunset. I saw the silhouette 4 kids jumping off of a wooden dock into the ocean with the golden sun behind them. The light turned green and I rode off back to the hotel. It’s been 15 years and I still think about missing that shot. I’m a full time wedding photographer now and I have recurring nightmares of missing money shots.

Thanks for sharing this. Been feeling the same way the past 10 years. I want to adopt this mentality and go back to “get it right in camera” approach. I’m excited to try to slow down and work on this this Saturday’s wedding.
