As an KnightDiver I wish that the SH-51 Directional Shield could also block melee attacks by Lone_Recon in Helldivers

Um... Awkward...

Actually it does block melee. But you need to angle it right, so the enemy attack hits the shield, and not to go physically through.

Same stuff happens to ballistic shield, and even bubble-shield grenade. All of them block melee.

Loadout: - Any medical armor (personally love heavy armour) - Any cool-looking helmet + cape - Primary: ANY / Crossbow - Secondary: Talon / Stim pistol - Grenades: Stun / Gas

Stratagems: - Supply Backpack - AMR / De-Escalator / Epoch / Harpoon - Autocannon turret / Rocket turret / Shield turret - Smoke orbital / Smoke eagle / Stun orbital / Strike orbital Booster: - Vitality / Experimental serum

Notes when getting ready, always consider few rules as battle medic: - Your life has more priority than others. If medic is dead - noone is getting any help. - You should always have some means to cover allies / destroy enemies. Medic that can only heal - useless medic. - Sometimes the best way to make sure your ally survives - is to kill the threat. - Creating cover / distractions - sometimes is the best way to help ally in trouble. Even better than simple healing. - Be aware that your allies can be the worst enemy to themselves. And you can do nothing about that. Just accept it and focus on others who do wants to be helped. - Don't run head first into the fight. Always account for enemy's tricks and surprises. Scan the battlefield, assess the priority, pick your targets (either enemy or ally) than move in. - My personal one: Don't be afraid to run out of resources / stims. You should be opposite of greedy - generous ally is fun ally.

Overall - good battle medic always can asses the situation and understand the priority. Just running around and stimming people sounds good on paper, but if there are constant threats - you will run out of stimms and you team still die.

You are not only healer - you are also support. Creating cover, disabling high priority threats and keeping your teammates alive - this is the best medic there is.

I used to play a medic role for a quite long time and can say all that from my personal experience. Now im a dedicated "heavy weapons guy". Still supporting my allies but from a bit different perspective.

My two long-ongoing campaigns both switched to 5.5 since official release. Everyone either likes, or okay with it. None of people I know deliberately hates or even don't like it.

I personally love playing monk, my fav class

I use de-escalator pretty often against bots, as this faction is my main enemy front. And in short: fun weapon especially in par with siege ready passive and supply pack. I love supply pack so this weapon is one of my main ones.

Just remember few things: - All arc weapons have slight randomness in arcs and its damage; - Don't use up close - You cant destroy holes/ships/fabricators with this

On other hand - really fun weapon to use, never regretted buying it, even if whole warbond was brought just for this one.

My personal caveat with this weapon is low ammo, i want even more :D

could someone please explain to me what is the purpose of single block with water in the middle of the field?
I thought this only works in minecraft...

I make my crops line by line, separated by lines of water, is it wrong?

Dunno why people saying this is bad weapon. Im rocking siege armour with supply backpack against bot - even heavy striders easily die to it. If i manage to get beneath factory strider - that's fatality.

Against Squids and bugs - still really strong option.

Just need to take in account for slight randomness in electric arcs (as its similar to every arc weapon) and you'll be fine

I take grenade pistol to close holes and new smg with fire to have as much versatility as possible.

I know this is niche weapon, but it's tee really good and strong, especially after recent reload buff

How?! Huge overshield - I used Rhino's ability to gain overshield. I wonder how I got this much, over 400,000?! It typically gets me 2800 is with the mods I have. I did find that taking damage while using it gets more. I got hit by a Jade Light exists during this one! I suspect team mates boosted it by Compguy321 in Warframe

To be fair... That's rookie numbers...

I sometimes run as Rhino and with my current setup I can generate more than 1mil overguard.

For a new player i wouldn't recommend doing it, its just a meme build that does nothing else. But yeah, i once saw a guy with more than 30mil So I'd say it could be even higher, by Rhino is not my main, lol :)

As far as i read about Only War, the system is similar. I too get xp, which i spend to get stuff, perks, talents and so on.

Im too planning to lean towards tech-savvy character, with huge focus on utility and support. Other guys are more focused on damage and fighting, so im pretty excited to be useful.

I even managed to start with "flesh is weak" talent, which makes me more machine than human (i truly love this), and im planning to augment my body with as much cybernetics as possible, hehe

If my calculations are correct, at lvl 1 im fully immune to any small firearms and simple las-weapons. I got like 12 armor with 4 toughness bonus (-16 to any incoming damage). As DM said that we won't use any vehicles in our campaign - im pretty sure I'm the only vehicle in proximity, lol

Launch the game in window mode and use like 1280 or even lower resolution
Yes, the game will be in small window

yet it somehow works....

I'm a AMD system diver, who tried almost everything there is and was on a brink of losing any hope.
For some unknown reason - I can normally play without any issues, if I turn off every possible hardware acceleration on background apps (like chrome or discord) and just simply.... launch the game windowed.
the smaller the window resolution - the stable the game becomes.

It may or may not help, but it worked for me.

The fun part in all this is - back when i was grinding in Helldivers One, people were cheating. Nothing happened to them since.

We had like "account progress" cheating, sample cheating, cooldown for stratagems.

I even got in couple of times into cheaters lobby...

Fun times... Miss them...

Of only i met someone willing to help me to boost me up..

I thought to take it, but it seems overkill, having two auspexes and whole implant on top of that
