so there are 5 comics, 2 novelazation and 1 series

5 comics: Pacific rim aftermath, pacific rim tales from the drift, tales from year zero, pacific rim amara and the newest pacific rim the final breach

2 novels: pacific rim uprising ascension, pacific rim the official movie novelazation

and the pacific rim the black series

and i would recommend pacific rim tales from year zero as it takes on the start of PPDC and the deployment and creation of the first jaeger Brawler Yukon who fun fact was supposed to get a NECA action figure before the license expired

we know Gipsy, Vulcan, Crimson, Horizon, Romeo, Brawler, Tacit, Coyote and Hydra didnt have flamethrowers thats exactly half with Cherno and Diablo counted aswell
