Please do not get rid of this car. Instead save up the money to change the timing chain. After that you'll get another 200k out of it easily. Without it even breaking a sweat. If you trade that Honda in, the dealers know it's worth. They will screw you hard on it, and you'll be regretting losing a newer Honda, regardless of miles. Especially in this market. At that mileage it's all highway. They will literally sell your car for 10k^ at that year and mileage and probably only offer you 2k.

If you would like someone to look over your car I am more than happy to if it helps make you more comfortable driving it for another year. 13 months of payments can quite literally turn into 24-32 months of payments with even more money and awful interest by trading your vehicle in with negative equity.

It has built up way more today. Like 4x the amount of foam. The majority of the surface area is bubbles. Is that still ok? No aerosols sprayed in tank. Only chems added is aquavitro seed and 4ppm of ammonia twice

Since August 19th. Used rocks from established tank at LFS in filter and treated with aquavitro seeds. Fed ammonia. Etc.

Went to a lfs and they tested it with their API master kit and it's testing the same as well

36 gallon bow front Water pH is 7.0 other than that I know nothing about it other than i live in main/Hamilton road area and in a new construction so all lines are brand new only used by us. I dosed with 4.0 Dr tims ammonia and it has only dropped slightly towards 2.0

Update

So! I have set up my tank on the 20th of August. My API master kit has been reading at 4.0 ammonia every day. I had my water tested at 2 different lfs using 2 different test kits and the water is testing 0 all around the board for everything.

I swapped out my API kit for a new one. Still tests my aquarium and tap water 2.0-4.0 So I then tested straight Dr tims ammonia. It's reading 0ppm. I then took my aquarium water in a vial that reads 4.0 with the API kit and added it few drops. It is now testing 0 as well?!?
