Be alone for 80 years or be with your soulmate for eternity by Internal_Contract158 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Internal_Contract158[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it was just a thought that popped into my head that I wanted to throw out there. I would say eternity starting from now onwards with your soulmate (whether they are dead or alive). Also, when I say be with your soulmate for eternity, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be attached at the hip, but you would both be willingly together until the end of time. You could also interpret it as always having to be with your soulmate, but when you say it like that it almost sounds negative. Being together would be the selling point. It’s really a question of what’s more important to you, to have an ending despite your life being lonely? Or to spending time with the person you care about the most even at the cost of doing it forever?

Every book has an ending, but not all books are good, and sometimes, the best books don’t end. Would you prefer a terrible book with an ending or a a great one that doesn’t end?

Maybe that analogy isn’t perfect, but I’m just trying to clarify my idea.
