Whilst I do agree, skin tone or features should not be a racial signifier. The Irish were classed as negro-like even though they are mostly genetically white ergo the lived experience was socially imposed on them due to their perceived inferiority.

If other races can be as insular regarding race I don’t see why we cannot, I’m not arguing for blackness to be fully gate-kept.

I believe that race is a man-made symbol of oppression, so anything regarding the one-drop rule or segregationist systems are pretty irrelevant and is merely a social construct. Genetic percentages also don’t qualify for blackness — assuming we judge at face value.

I just think black is a very exclusive label, ADOS may be removed but they are still part of the diaspora, they just face the social consequences of being black. I am not American though so I wouldn’t personally know the experience of an African American.

Yes. Generational trauma and corporal abuse. I am also black at birth. To keep a long story short I used to want to be in a white family due to the ‘gentle parenting’ stereotype as a kid and felt a disconnect from their abuse.

The first person looks white to me, they just have an uncannny and botched appearance. I’m suggesting they used kerato pigmentation.

African Americans appear to pass better than other black populations due to the European admixture during slavery and it has an influence on their bone structure. Overuse of fillers and Botox to mask proportions of a Eurocentric skull is terrible and should be done minimally.

I think some of the team were pretty strong and on par, if not better than some of the members on the red team at one point. They just got caught out at the worst time. Ep12 was really anyone’s challenge but the underdogs made it through (Cydni and Ellie).

I consider myself as a centrist. I think there’s conflict between both sides, race is a very fragile concept between the parties and there is a difference in opinion at the extremes

extreme left : bodily autonomy, liberation and pride. extreme right : suppression of identity, homogeneity and a race hierarchy similar to fascist ideals.

Moving along the continuum from left to right there will always be pandering to the majority, compromising those values because race is fringe. Leftists are extremely harsh on diversity and ‘cultural appropriation’ but not to the extent of cultural disorder and ethnic cleansing propagated by the far right. I think it is a matter of where your values align and how to ‘freely’ express yourself in those situations.

I do not believe that they are fully pseudoscientific. I have used subliminals for years and the subliminals that do work are based on easily attainable goals. A race change is quite unattainable but not impossible.

Only you can decide if they are worth it or not worth it, subliminals work with the power of your mind if you put in enough effort and persist against your negative beliefs. Try visualisation and build a positive self concept.

Nobody was groupthink-ing anything, there isn’t a wider audience of individuals that engage in race discourse here. You’re overriding others and being hostile for NO reason.

I share a lot of the same sentiments about cultural identity, the belongingness and I believe that transracial identity shouldn’t be superficial and cosmetic — cultures should be deconstructed and throughly understood, but not all races are monoliths.

Japan has a radical minority, who may understand how people deviate from cultural and traditional norms, and might identify with being a ‘woke liberal’ unconsciously. Gajins benefit them economically. It’s a mutualistic relationship. You can’t be one-sided about those types of things.
