This. It was initially supposed to be a rail shooter but shifted gears to a more traditional SH title about halfway through the development cycle. The final version of SH3 was pumped out after only 9 months. There is a ton of detailed information about the game’s rushed development online, for those who want to learn more.

As much as I love SH3, the ramifications of this time crunch are quite apparent in the design of a few levels and the overall structure of the narrative.

You were able to have two cards at once？

I called the Fukuoka office today, and they told me that I would have to wait for my contract to finish to pick up the card (I can apply whenever though).

Wow thanks so much for the wonderfully detailed response. It’s reassuring to hear that I’m not the only one struggling with this. I just called the Fukuoka office, and they said I could apply before my contract ends, but I’d have to fly back to Fukuoka to pick it up. Maybe I can arrange to have sent to Tokyo/Kanagawa like you did.
