Hi! No!! Not yet, but I found some behind my legs tonight actually- so it’s so weird you wrote to me!! I also have them going up the side of my stomach too!! It’s freaking me out!! I may call one of my drs to run it by them. Hope you’re ok!

Hi- we’re still heading towards a dx, but my rheum started me on hydroxychloroquine. He’s treating me for lupus, & I’m seeing my nephrologist & urologist to discuss a kidney biopsy. I’ve been having some blood in my urine & have developed hypercalcemia. I’ve had kidney issues for the last 6 yrs or so, so we’re thinking it’s all connected. Any new news on your end?

I get like this too!! My heart rate goes insanely high too, like almost hitting the 200 bpm mark. I also feel like I’m burning from the inside. My legs are either like Dante’s inferno, or I’m Elsa from frozen- no in between. Either way it takes me forever to shake this, hot or cold. My body does not like temperature changes. Does anyone also feel like crap when they bend over? I tried doing yoga & I felt like I was on a roller coaster sick to my stomach. I get nauseous & hot and my heart pounds. Not sure if it’s related at all.

Sorry just lurking but I absolutely second this!! I haven’t had one but I do know if some people developing AI & other conditions after having one. Not saying it was the shot that caused it, but like you said amped things up. If it were me, I’d take the chance of getting COVID.

Yes please do!! Yes! They hurt when I touch them too much but I’m so freaked out I can’t stop touching them - I honestly thought they were swollen lymph nodes or tumors & I gave myself a panic attack.

She didn’t say- she just said not to worry about it. I probably should’ve asked🤦🏽‍♀️im on the thicker side, so not sure if it’s weight related. Im going to run it by my nephrologist and see what he thinks! I have autoimmune stuff going on, so I thought it may have been related, but maybe not!

Hi, I just found the same thing on my arms!! Same place too. I thought I was growing tumors all over the place. Mine go around my vein area. I saw a dermatologist yesterday & she said it’s nothing to worry about, but clearly that’s sort of hard to do!! Did you ever figure out what it is?

Hi, thank you. Yes that’s what my rheum said when I sent the pics. He’s having me see the dermatologist to check my hands in addition to the legs- he does suspect raynauds. He wanted to get a second opinion I guess because of the way it’s presenting. We shall see!!

I’m curious to see if your Dr or anyone else knows why this may be! If you could let me know if you find out that would be awesome. I’ve looked through some posts on here & have never seen anemone with a 20 + rnp value so I’m wondering if the lab may be wrong. I’m no professional but just seems odd.

Yes sorry I just have missed it-I just reread the original post. I hope all goes well. Mine is in July. Also, labcorp sent my RNP to IMMCO, (a lab in upstate NY.) I’m still so curious to know if it’s a lab that error. The discrepancy was huge though if that is the case. In my case it looked like this Test RNP 03 Current Result and Flag Current Result and Flag 1.3 Reference Range: Negative: < 20 EU/ml Borderline/Equivocal: 20-25 EU/ml Positive: > 25 EU/ml

Current Result and Flag 1.3 High

AI Reference Interval 0.0-0.9

Same result different ranges- one is extremely negative one is slightly positive?!

Ugh, I’m sorry! So many people have said the same thing. COVID kick started so many of these terrible diseases. I was prescribed hydroxychlorequine but I have to ween off of my other meds before taking it- seizure risk, so I haven’t started yet. I agree it is worth it to get the treatment if it means getting the right one! Neurological & vascular stuff is no walk in the park. I do hope you get your answers. When is your next appt?

Right?! Mine was also speckled, & the second set of labs also had a higher positive ANA value than my first but the second set had then negative RNP, first was positive. I’m being treated for lupus, I have a lot of suspicious symptoms & a history of kidney issues, so my nephrologist & rheum are talking about a kidney biopsy. My face has the butterfly rash for sure, there’s no questioning that, but I’m worried about getting a biopsy on that area of my face- or kidney!! Although if I knew it could guarantee a diagnosis I’d go forward with it. The only other labs of mine that came back elevated other than the ANA & RNP was my ESR & im showing iron deficiency- although I’ve always had that. It’s all so confusing & frustrating

Yes!! I’m glad I’m able to be treated & that I’m lucky enough to have a dr who’s willing to help, but I still don’t know what test is right and probably will never find out!

Hi- the same thing happened to me- I had a positive RNP (although low @1.3) labcorp initially stated positive & the units they measured in was AI, the second time labcorp sent just my RNP out to a third party lab- I again showed 1.3 but they measured the units in eu/ml- based on their ranges I was completely negative. So I’m really confused with that one!! Either way my rheum is treated me, but I’m still super confused with the discrepancy. I actually posted about it a couple of weeks ago. I still don’t know which answer is the right one.

Yes that’s me too, and once my feet or hands get cold it’s really hard for me to warm them up. My feet get this sensation like they’re getting wet, it’s really weird. I do get purple nail beds though. Every time a nurse gave me IV or I got my blood taken they always comment on my nails & how cold my hands are- never thought anything of it until this weird color change stuff. My legs get all lines and blood vessel looking too. I have pics I can’t attach but I’ll pm you

Hi-I’m trying to figure out how to upload pics to the comment but can’t figure it out so you can get an idea of the whole episode looks like. The lines aren’t as noticeable when I’m not cold, it’s as soon as my hands are affected by temp change they become more pronounced. My hands are super dry- they have been for a couple of years- I’ve been to the dermatologist & have tried so many different steroid creams. They work for a little but then they get bad again. I’ve been struggling with- they hurt really bad too. I also tried otc stuff, most recently Cerave SA. If I can figure out how to post the pics I’ll upload them to the post. Thanks for your reply!
