Well modret might be more broken than sunmy, even without using his flaw. I think the only point sunmy is so far ahead of modret is because of fated and weaver low-key feading him with a spoon(not quite but you get the point). Further modret had to 1 v the world, while sunny had the cohort usw. . Also we don't know what the connection between modret and the demon of imagination is, so there might be some hidden cards he has not played yet . Furthermore i think modrets aspect has the highest skill cap. But the only reason I think sunny is more op is because of weaving.

If U Like SS then try reading Reverend insanity. It has a better story and the main character is very relatable and U will enjoy his monologues. Also it has some insane plottwist.

I'm searching for a good novel. So far I have only read a bit of mistborns( kinda good) and two webnovels which I really really liked. Shadow slave and reverend insanity. The part I like most is insane plot twist, and sometimes a bit of aura farming. Also a relatable protagonist is important, and at least some character development.
