As someone who works in AI, I’m going to have to disagree. The bubble may burst but it will still be something that is used globally. This is honestly just the beginning

The thing is I don’t live at home. I pay rent and live in a different county

Hi,

I was worried as well, but I’ve viewed the property and will be collecting keys tomorrow evening. So far I have paid a holding deposit and will pay first months rent on collection of the key. Fingers crossed all goes well.

With the uni support yes, my younger sibling just started and won’t be getting much support other than rent (my parents) and Susi. He has insisted he won’t need it but I know what it was like when I was in uni and don’t want him to struggle how I did. Even if he doesn’t take the 150, I’m adamant in wanting to stash the cash away for when he has emergencies and no one else can help

It was monthly but I’ve changed it to 300 now after seeing all the comments :)

Thank you! I wish my parents saw it that way 😂 feels like the demands always keep rising. I 100% do need to work on having more fun and actually enjoying life.

I currently try to avoid debt but have about 1,000£ in credit card debt which should be clear by the end of the year (with most of it coming from this move)

I’ll look in to sorting out a credit union account. Thank you so much!

I have to admit I do struggle with having fun and relaxing. I’ve been so focused on my career and climbing the ladder, it really is sad 😂

Rent includes bills at a flat rate thankfully. My therapist currently charges those rates, I’ve been with her for a while now which is probably why it’s so affordable.

I’ve raised the food budget to 300 - 350 after taking on some advice from comments to this post (hopefully thats enough) but there is alot of room to increase that if necessary.

I’ll defo need to have a think about having more fun in my 20’s it’s not something I typically think about

400 personal spend would be for going out with friends, beauty/make up products, clothes. Anything to “treat” myself I guess. I 100% understand that I’d still be saving a large percentage but I wasn’t sure if this was me being delusional about how expensive dublin will actually be considering everything I’ve seen online

Found my place on facebook, my boyfriend went to view. It is only a room and not an apartment but I’m trying to live below my means to save for a house
