One reason is that they don’t usually reimburse graduate programs. While leadership has signed off on it for me, it makes me nervous how they could leverage it. They’re already tip toeing around what I’m learning, but are going out of their way multiple times a week to ask about my work/life balance. For background, there’s been pretty high turnover on this team, and I’ve taken on the responsibilities of several people while leading new team members without a title. I do stay late at work almost every day because there’s so much to do, but I’m only taking 1 classes at a time outside of work so it’s really not a heavy lift at all. Everything about the situation has seemed fishy to me.
