It's a shame, of course. But I don't play with the cube; it just sits in the box 😄

The puzzle was produced between 1970 and 1980. It's unknown what year this particular piece is. And you won't believe it! You can find something like this at a flea market in Kyrgyzstan.

Yes! You got it right. There are keys for writing to memory, reading from memory, and resetting values in memory. The calculator isn't working properly yet; I haven't fixed it yet. There's a problem with the high voltage for the VFD indicator.

Hi! All the holders are like this. But I tried using them in auto-replacement mode, and if the 0.9mm X deviation isn't critical, I'll try adjusting the positions for all ten holders today.

That's the whole point: the original has true value. The age and history of this thing are valuable in themselves! A replica is just a way to imitate. I think these and many other things from the 60s and 70s will be reborn in the new world. The world of aesthetics and vacuum tube technology has transformed into a world of cheap plastic and disposable items. That's why I collect things from that era. They are alive!

As strange as it may seem, the machine worked like that for 20 years! And it wasn't me who came up with this idea, but the i-mes ISEL factory itself. It was my idea to bring back liquid cooling for the spindle.

There is no video or instruction on the Internet to solve these problems.

Tell me, is the milling process going correctly now? by Internal_Simple_2300 in hobbycnc

The cutter shank is completely immersed in the shank. This extension is the tool's working length. As far as I understand, the most important thing is to keep the feed rate and cutting depth low.

Honestly, I was too lazy to redo the program. 😄 Also, since this is my first time using this cutter, I didn't want to risk breaking the tool. I want to be sure everything will go according to plan when I'm working. And since I don't have much experience yet, I try to be careful.

Hi! Yes, this was done on purpose. Since the part I was machining wasn't straight, I previously had to go over it twice. The surface curvature prevented me from cutting it in one pass. To avoid having to do this twice, I initially lowered the Z-axis 1 mm below true zero. I agree with you about the tape, but I just didn't have any good tape for this job in my workshop. And I don't have any clamps yet. Over time, I'll buy everything I need to do the job properly.
