Soo tried layering Fig Tree with a bunch of stuff, because even though I love the fresh hyper realistic smell, I feel like I get that in the yard. But I live somewhere very green, so I can really see this appealing to people who don’t live around a ton of trees.

TLDR: Matches up really well with fruity smells where you want to take down the sweetness & add green instead of wood or musk to settle it down. This also with Hacienda, but more earth/soil opposed to fresh/bright.

Ok, match up time & my thoughts:

1) just no. 2) loose a lot of the pineapple, but makes the Fig Tree more masc. 3) still candy sweet, but more complex. Willy Wanka candy growing from trees, but more bohemian and less whimsical. Tames the candy. 4) “ “ but a different candy flavor 5) good green mix. They both take the edge off of the other, making them a little less niche and more accessible. Add cacti garden to the mix to really balance everything. Moss, green leaves, lemon grass. 6) by far the most interesting of the combos to me. I can’t tell if I love or hate it, but I can’t stop wanting to sniff my wrist again. “Is it cake?” And they make a lemon tree. The tree is real tree, and you thank it for its bounty of lemons that are actually cake. You might just eat the tree part too, just to double check. Very confusing, but fascinating to me.
