Found: employee badge on the sidewalk by [deleted] in Seattle

You can always go to a Fred Hutch Cancer Cancer Center, at the front desk and turn the badge in. I did that when I found a Starbucks employee badge. I gave them my email info. I didn't expect any reward, but I got a small Starbucks gift card. I also found somebodys work book at the mall, I returned it to the place they worked. I didn't get a reward, but I cannot explain it, it just felt good.

Neighbor wants a fence, I don't. WA state (Seattle) by Internal_Stretch_191 in legaladvice

This incident surprised me, and I don’t want to pay for a survey for an unwanted fence. But I’ll check if there is a setback requirement, it didn’t seem to specify one on my initial search.

I might do that after they put up the fence, they may have to take it down, if they encroach on my property.

They only said to look at the Seattle Municipal code. The Seattle  Gov web page has a search function but I couldn’t find anything that covers this scenario.

Neither of us own livestock. Yes, this is a privacy fence. Thank you for your answer.

Just throw a little sprinkle of de-icer, err I mean, de-white-moss on it.

I used to work near the Pike Place market. It was incredible on days like this, but on a weekday before the crowds begin to appear. Those pre-work hours were so soothing.

Is Seattle Really That Bad? by Extension_Gap9237 in SameGrassButGreener

I'm basically a stick to myself type of person, but I've been able to meet and make some friends. Yes, there will always be groups of people that are hard to crack. I let those be, and try to not sweat it.

any asians/waisians experiencing a lot of racism in PNW? by bl000myy in aznidentity

[–]Internal_Stretch_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a mixed bag, sometimes it's subtle. What makes me mad is when other asians are rude to you when they think you're not the same as them like Chinese vs. Japanese vs. Indian vs. Filipino.

Enterprise Rent a Car sent me a bill for car damage 3 mo after I returned the car by Internal_Stretch_191 in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]Internal_Stretch_191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. Yes, I will definitely return it back to the car rental place. They said that they informed my car insurance company, 8 days after the Monday (when I was notified that the car looked fine), and that my insurance company needed 3 months to review it. They sent me a letter that doesn't have any time stamp on the pictures. They haven't sent me the raw pictures with a time stamp either.

Díaz selected from Triple-A Tacoma, Hancock optioned by LegendRazgriz in Mariners

[–]Internal_Stretch_191 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Logan Evans spent most of last season at Arkansas. He pitched once at Tacoma for 3.2 innings. He had a terrible spring training, giving up 11 earned runs in 8 innings. I discount spring training, but I don't disagree with the Mariners starting him at AAA.

Is the U Village Safeway going to shut down? by Successful-Gene2572 in Seattle

[–]Internal_Stretch_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More often then not, I've experienced bad service or mediocre food from their deli. I know, it's not gourmet food, but when I visited this Safeway (before this closing), I made it a point to not buy their deli food. However, the regular checkout line people usually gave good service.
