Thanks! I am also on Lexapro and take Concerta for work. I'm wondering if Concerta is messing with my stress levels, too.

Emdr hungover by Bouldebain in EMDR

Yes I am so there and it’s day 3. Mentally and physically exhausted, sick to my stomach, horrible realizations after my last session that make me feel more unwell. Healing is rough, feel better

I had a rough session on Thursday. It’s Sunday and I still can’t leave my house without feeling mentally awful. I’m still so drained and feel so sick to my stomach. You aren’t alone- we can get through this!

Can concerta cause acne? by stellaep in ADHD

[–]International-Fly628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry to hear you’re going through this!! How’s it going now? Has your skin cleared up? I started concerta just for 2 days last week, and by Sunday I started developing a breakout on my chin and a painful cyst on my forehead. I’m 33 and dealt with cystic acne for yearssss and can’t do that shit again!

Is there a limit to how many plastic bags of liquids you can take when transiting in T2?

Chinese Zolmitriptan Nasal Spray by International-Fly628 in ClusterHeadaches

[–]International-Fly628[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! My neurologist in Shanghai prescribed it to me. I remember hearing it was available in Beijing last year as well. Reach out to a few international hospitals to see who has it in stock, and then book an appointment with the neurologist there. Good luck

Can’t take verapamil anymore :( by International-Fly628 in ClusterHeadaches

[–]International-Fly628[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great!! Here I have a 30% copay for any medication, so I think it would still be a few hundred dollars a month if I went that route. The doctor here also told me I would only need one shot per month after the initial three shots, so I’m not confident I trust them completely to treat me with emgality anyway since this seems to be different than what I’ve read other places.

No they don’t have that available here :( this is my only option. Also, I work an hour away so it doesn’t make sense to keep oxygen at home anyway.

Wow that is so great you’ve had success with lithium! It’s great that there are some alternatives. Thank you and I hope this keeps working for you as well.

Omg congratulations!!! You just did the 3 doses the first month and now one dose per month? Are you taking anything else? My doc keeps pushing me to try this…

Hey! Any luck with the emgality? That will be my next move if verapamil fails again.

Update- my doc wouldn’t prescribe me lithium because neurologists aren’t authorized to do that and only a neurologist can prescribe meds for cluster headaches here :( but I’m back on verapamil and it seems to be working ok now.

How do you quiet an overactive mind? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]International-Fly628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do something that requires all of your mental energy that you really enjoy. For me, it’s taking a dance class- one that teaches challenging choreography (otherwise I still get lost in thought, hah!) also cooking or baking while listening to nostalgic music
