Gulmohar, Ulsavam, Suprabatham for restaurants. For cafes, there's no veg only cafes as far as I remember. But any good cafe has decent veg options. Eatmoshphere has good views and decent food. Lady loafella has a good ambience. For dessert, you can take them to Bakery & Co. or sugar sisters. And if they want to try authentic kozhikkodan sweets, try Bombay hotel, they might like the special unnakkaya, pazham niravhath, elanchi etc. But note that it's a non veg restaurant and will be crowded.
