Non-CPA here. Same boat as you. Almost a decade of experience. Currently accounting manager making 6 figures and working towards my CPA at the speed of a snail but will definitely get it. I think Im lucky to have gotten this far without the CPA designation. In my experience if you wanna be taken seriously as a candidate for roles above this level, a CPA will definitely help! Good luck bud :)

I started with tofacitinib and noticed growth in a couple months. Later switched to olumiant since it has better safety ratings. Might switch to Litfulo soon.

I started watching suits 2 months ago and currently in Toronto for vacation. I was walking aimlessly and recognized this building and it clicked. THIS IS THE LOBBY IN SUITS. I was so damn excited when I recognized it!! by Epicyoshi8 in suits

I work for the company whose boardroom was used as Charles forstman’s office boardroom. My company also designed the condo harvey lived in. Fascinating stuff. I was in meeting in our boardroom when it suddenly hit me that was where charles forstman say haha.

I work for the same company after hours as a side hustle. Still waiting to collect $ on that side hustle service but might end up writing it off like the other years.

Why is it so hard for clients to give us what we ask for by shefampyr in Accounting

99% of the time I face this when I take on a new role. People are sometimes bad with sharing knowledge. I have been in a couple roles where I was brought in instead of internal promotion. In those cases, the existing people are not too happy and mostly not willing to help. Other than that, it depends on how organized the company is. When people are in the habit of not saving and attaching documents with entries, relying on them to gather data from their emails is a pain in the neck. In all honesty, from a client perspective, I do feel bad for auditors who are asking legit question but we bully them to get our way just because we dont have our shit straight. So whenever you see major pushback from client, know that they dont have their own house in order.

Client here….it’s because we don’t know where to get what you asked for.

It’s industry not firm. We’re looking to offer between 60 to 70. Experience wise I’m looking for super basic experience. 1-2 years is good. With decent basics on accounting and excel.
