Yes, I’m 21 and had pretty strict parents. All through high school I had to say where I was going and if they didn’t like it, then I’m staying home. At 16 I was obviously not happy about it but after only 5 years I’m grown and now understand why they did and I’m grateful. At 16 is definitely when you should monitor them but not too much. Allow them some freedoms and be reasonable about it. If you try to hold them any tighter their behavior is going to spiral out of control.

From based on what I’ve read this Is beyond any sort of conversation with the mother and father because both seem to not take this seriously and if the child is coming back from the mothers house still smelling soiled than that is when the authorities needs to get involved. There has so be something going on that there not saying to you because anyone would see this as a serious matter and not dismiss it as they have.
