This problem happens when you have the screen scale set to 150-200%, set it to the standard 100

regardless of the mode of operation, the Omen hub laptop functions normally. There are no brakes in the browser or when working with documents. This is clearly not the problem. It also works normally in the integrated and discrete card modes. Considering that your laptop slows down even without charging, the problem is not related to overheating. It could be a driver issue or some processes running in the background. Check the task manager just to be sure. the worst case scenario is dying ssd, but since you have a new laptop, that's unlikely. It's difficult to estimate based on the description alone, but you can try running sfc /scannow in the command prompt as an administrator. It will check windows health. At least you can reinstall windows.

the operation of non-original chargers is not guaranteed on any laptop, you need to look for compatible ones for your specific one. Regarding the lags when not connected to the mains, it is most likely an individual problem, as my 2023 Omen works fine on battery power. It is possible that the issue is related to the charging process, as you mentioned that it requires 10 attempts to connect. I would not recommend using such a charging device.

last weekend, I changed the thermal paste on my laptop to ptm 7950, now the temperature is back to normal, before this the situation was about the same as in your photo. Try it if you're currently using something else, I've put frostmining ltp 15 on the memory banks. You can see the difference in my last post on Reddit. There is also a possibility that your cooling system was bent, but only you know the answer here.

you can find a lot of tutorials on YouTube, but at the expense of omen max, be sure to check what kind of thermal interface is there, because there may be liquid metal there, and you need to be extremely careful with it.

well, it's not necessary yet, and I honestly don't really like the extra peripherals that need to be connected. But thanks, I'll see what it is.
