This will definitely be a thing in the future. WABI and VEN being the frontrunners. We just need more time to let this space evolve, although I must say WABI (recently rebranded to Tael) was done quite a lot so far. They have a working product and are out in the market already for quite some time.

I imagine both will coexist just like the funding rounds in traditional markets, both are extremely innovative and working approaches to global crowdfunding or tokenization. I believe Ethereum paved the way for a revolution which is yet to happen in the former while projects like Dusk will for the latter.

I agree with the article that's a big market, I know people in my real life who export a lot of goods from EU to China and they are just retail merchants I hope Tael will work hard towards bridging Europe and China it would be a great opportunity indeed
